KEN CHAN

Founder and CEO

Before PCG, Ken was the Head of the Japan office for GIC, where he looked after Real Estate and Integrated Strategies investments over 19 years. In that time he built up a core portfolio of real estate assets across office, residential, retail, logistics and hospitality sectors, in addition to assisting GIC with its other investments in equities, private equities and infrastructure.

 

Ken sits on various company boards and charities. He serves as an External Director for Keihan Holdings Co. Ltd., the Representative Director of NPO, Hands On Tokyo, Board Director of Christel Vie Ensemble, and was the former Urban Land Institute (ULI) Japan Vice Chairman. 

Andy brings over 30 years of experience in real estate investment management, spanning deal sourcing, structuring and execution, asset and development management as well as divestment. Andy began his career with Keppel Land, gaining early exposure to property development and management. 

Most recently, Andy served as Chief Asset Management Officer at Pontiac Land Group, where he oversaw a diversified portfolio of hospitality, residential and commercial assets located in Singapore, New York, Sydney and the Maldives. 

Prior to Pontiac Land, Andy was Senior Vice President at GIC Real Estate, where he spent 19 years managing investments and assets across Japan, Russia, China, India, Europe and SouthEast Asia. From 2003 to 2005, he was based in GIC’s London Office, strengthening the firm’s European presence.

COLIN LOW

CEO, Patience Lifestyle and
Head of RE Investments (ex.Japan)

Colin is a seasoned investment and real estate practitioner with more than 25 years of experience in international real estate, hospitality, fund management (REITs/private equity), corporate banking and public-sector leadership. Former CEO of the Singapore Land Authority (SLA), he led the transformation of Singapore’s 2,700 state properties and 11,000 hectares of land into vibrant community, social, and lifestyle destinations. 

 

Previously, as CEO of Frasers Hospitality Trust Management, Colin oversaw a USD 1.9B global hospitality REIT portfolio spanning Europe, Australia, Japan, and Southeast Asia, executing landmark cross-border deals and value-accretive capital initiatives. Before FHT, he was based in London as CBRE Hotels' head of hotel brokerage for Europe.

Yoichi Tamagawa is the Senior Managing Director for Private Equity at PCG.

Prior to joining PCG in 2024, Mr. Tamagawa served as co-head of Japan Private Equity at PAG.

Previously, he was involved in private equity investments at Marunouchi Capital, Ripplewood Holdings, a US fund, and Mitsubishi Corporation.

 

Over his tenure, he was responsible for numerous investments in the lifestyle sector. He holds a B.A. in Economics from Waseda University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

LOW TIEN LOON

Chief Financial Officer

Tien Loon is the Chief Financial Officer of PCG. Prior to PCG, Tien Loon was a Senior Vice President in GIC Pte Ltd where he headed the Financing team for real estate globally.

 

Tien Loon has cultivated strong banking relationships, and worked on deals across office, retail, hospitality, logistics, and other niche property sectors in Asia, Europe and the Americas.

Over 21 years with GIC, Tien Loon has been actively involved in debt financing and TMK structuring for numerous real estate projects in Japan. 

Dai spent 14 years at Mizuho Securities Principal Investment, responsible for mezzanine, primary, and secondary equity investments for various asset types, private placements of unlisted investment corporations, program investments in private REITs, and US open-end fund investments. From 2019, he served as Managing Director of Strategic Investments, overseeing LBO mezzanine and direct investments in venture companies. Prior to joining Mizuho, he worked at GE Real Estate, responsible for real estate acquisition, asset management, and business development.

Dai began his career at Mori Building, where he was responsible for administrative tasks and served as a member of the Roppongi Hills redevelopment project team. After transferring to Mori Trust, he was involved in the redevelopment project of the current Azabudai Hills.​

JANNE KOBAYASHI

Senior Managing Director
Head of RE Investment

Drawing from nearly two decades of experience in investment banking across Tokyo and London, Janne's tenure culminated in his leadership as managing director and head of the real estate investment banking team at UBS Japan. In this capacity, he played a pivotal role in originating and executing a myriad of corporate finance transactions for both domestic and international real estate clients. Janne's contributions were instrumental in establishing UBS Japan as a formidable force in the local real estate market. ​

With a robust background in business advisory and strategy consulting, Janne then went on to start a successful advisory boutique company and a venture capital fund company for local real estate and other corporate clients, spearheading various advisory projects, startup funding and corporate restructuring initiatives.
